Drona, friendly suggestions for new OWP server
Drona,
First of all can I just compliment you on a great server set up using the new OW mod. I am very impressed. I wanted to start a thread with some suggestions around the idea of opening up these maps a little bit to increase plants and decrease sniper kills (which I am one of as you know). Please take these as ideas as constructive and not critical. :-)
1. Remove Crash and Vacant <--- To tight
2. Move A bomb site on Downpour to outside of building it is currently in and place it between MG building and the small room it is currently in
3. Is it possible to remove fences on Creek? If so, you could really open up the map on the far left side of defence past B. If not, maybe move the A bomb closer to A house by about 15 m.
4. One Overgrown, move A bomb from current A building just into the road next to it.
5. Crossfire, move B bomb out of building into open area behind toll booth, same side.
6. The rest of the maps I think are about as good as you can get them. IMO, the best balanced maps right now are Ambush, Downpour and Crossfire.
Again, WELL DONE! I can tell you and your team did a great job on this server. Keep up the good work.

Crash is being removed and may need to relook Vacant...
My same thoughts were voiced on this during the play testing. Lets see how it looks with it switched for a few rotations.
Cant remove fences or anything else on the maps. They are all locked by the creator and we havent found a way to mod each map. Because if we could Creek would be amazing with all of the areas open up!
We did try that too. I wasnt a fan of the placement in the building but any further back its in the defenders spawn point. And the road next to it is a clear sniper shot from spawn to spawn.
I'd actually like to see it pushed up to the room with the couch. I understand why its been placed there so it keeps defenders out of a strategic position that looks into the A bomb site.
