Fix for VOIP volume in game being low.....

So our youngest player I believe let me know what to do here (Michael). All you have to do is take your master volume to about 3/4 of full volume. This does NOT mess with the in game VOIP volume at all. Once you have this at the right setting then turn you computer volume back up until the game sounds are at the right level as the computer volume will adjust both VOIP and in game respectively at the same time.

I can now hear Bronco and Kizzer who I always had trouble hearing before.

    HOPE THIS HELPS!

    Good stuff.

Also, Bronco, Kizzer or anyone whose mic is really quiet, make sure your mic boost is turned on in your windows sound settings. And make sure your mic record volume is high enough (but not too high!).

To turn on boost in XP for most soundcards, follow these instructions:

For Realtek HD audio cards (very common on-motherboard device), follow these instructions:

Or watch this annoyingly long, rambling video:

It's funny, cause some people always complain about my volume in-game, and I ask others how it is, and they say it's fine.

I always knew it wasn't my side that was the problem.

Everytime I set up my games I take the ingame volume down quite a bit to combat the in-game VOIP against in-game sound.
