Wow, the Sinclair ZX81 was my first computer too! Of course, i was about 2 at the time

Asteroids was one of my favourite games on it... when I was learning the alphabet, H was for Hyperspace
My dad bought the kit and soldered it together. Came with 1K RAM out of the box, and he got the 16K expansion, too. Along with the freaky little thermal tape printer.
I didn't even know Sinclairs were sold in the US. Back home in Ireland, the ZX Spectrum and Commodore 64 were huge competitors, much like the SNES and Genesis, and these days the PS3 and XBOX360.
