    Help please

    Hi guys i keep getting dropped out of the game with an iw3mpexe stoped working message can anyone help please?

    After a google of iw3mp.exe I came up with this

    But need more info to diagnose. It seems that Vista has it's own issues as usual. But you are not alone with this error message.

    i run 32bit vista ultimate, 4870 card. i just updated drivers (9.2) for the card. was doing some over clocking the other day and got a blue screen with ati error and ever since the game now runs for a couple of mins and the i get dropped out with the error.

    OC'ng the GPU or the CPU?

    If you haven't backed up your profile I would do that straight away.

    Then if you are tired of trying to diagnose the problem proceed to un-install and then wipe the registry of any remaining info and reinstall.

    Probably the easiest thing to do. Rather than trouble shoot the problem.

    It was the cpu and yes i did back up my profile before i started. But the decision has been made for me the system crashed so i've got to do a full reinstall of everything.

    Ouch, sorry to hear it was the CPU!
    Atleast CPU prices are relatively cheap when you replace it.
