    Hope you guys don't mind a break in the lolz for an update. I've been working on an extended smoke grenade and the latest result is on server 2 now. There's a little more tweaking to do, but I should have it finalized this afternoon. Let me know what you think. I'm also gonna move stuff on Burg, Old School and Krutzenfleig. The server may occasionally go offline today while I make changes. Thanks for your patience.

    I love the smoke thing, too!

    Also, speaking of server 2, I have a question. Can you defuse claymores? And if so, how? I know Drona's mentioned doing it while I was on the server a couple of nights ago, but I've tried pressing and holding F and it don't do nuthin for me

    Oh, and while I'm here, can I request that we turn TKing claymores back on? And the bandaging & jam-clearing thing.

    And we never tried out the whole not being able to see friendlies on the map thing. Can we try that?

    And at the risk of being bashed about the head by Bomber, can we reduce the friendly-nametagging distance again? It looks like it's back to stock COD4 mode. 20-30m would probably be plenty for team coordination purposes.

    i would like to second the name tag thing. to me i think the distance should be no more than five meters for planing purposes.

    i think the smoke lasting longer is an awesome idea and plan

    You would think so, but the game engine seems to think metres are a lot smaller than they are. And when people are faffing about at the start of the round and not paying attention, 5m turns out to be awfully difficult to work with.

    Well, we tested it some and I need to double check my work because several things weren't working properly. Back to the way it was for now.

    are going to increase the rotation count any?? i mean, i would love to see apesgarod and a few others in rotation, ive played these new maps all week long now

    or is it a thing that you dont want to put the maps on the server until you change the bomb sites??

    Last night (central european night time) was an excelent night on server 2.
    Very good game play,
    good communications,
    wicked maps,
    lots of laughs (defusing a clay takes of your face),
    a good midnight snack,
    some beers..
    and some nice piano music...

    All in all a very good gaming night for me, thanks to the ones making it possible to have a server like this, and thanks to all in the community for making the servers actualy come to live.
