Re: Server 2
good work, would love to help with some of the new map bomb locations if someone can tell me how to take screenshots in cod4 and know where to find them while im playing i can take screen shots of where i think a good location might be.
im also really loving the deferent themes with these maps. some of them have some of that single player music to the just slightly and enhances the tense-ness of the matches in my opinion. good work and keep it up

Re: Server 2
To take a screen shot, hit the console button (~) and type in /screenshot or bind a key to take them.
For XP to receive them, C:\Program Files\Activision\ --> Call of Duty then mods, openware for server 1 and openwarfare153 for server 2, last screenshot folder.
For Vista,
C:\Users\your profile\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\openwarfare153\screenshots
^for server two^
C:\Users\your profile\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\openwarfare\screenshots
^server 1^
*note the your profile and change that to your windows account name when you log onto your computer, for example mine is my name
That should do it i believe.

Re: Server 2
I have a couple suggestions as to the map rotation. Personally I don't like the maps Seige and Krutzenflieg at all. Seige is assembled very randomly, and I never have any clear idea of what to do. Krutzenflieg is extremely laggy, where anytime I look towards the center my frame rate drops enormously. It's also boring, as every game seems to go exactly the same way.
There's some cool maps like Docks and Chernobyl that I never seem to get to play because annoying ones like these keep popping up. I don't think I'm alone in this, as earlier this afternoon other people were getting frustrated with those two maps.
As for suggestions to additions, I saw a video on YouTube of a map called Vertical that looks really neat. You can check it out if you want:
Anyways, whatever the maps are, this TG experience has been fantastic, and I'd like to thank everyone for including me.|TG|Henroast in Call of Duty 4

Re: Server 2
Voting is enabled for moving to the next map. Put it to a vote and let the server decide.
I'm looking at some of the maps on the site you linked. They have a few things that CodUtility.com doesn't have so if I find some that fit our play, I'll add them.
Part of the reason the map rotation is so big right now - 21 maps - is that they really need to be play tested under both light and heavy server populations. Siege for instance can be quite fun 5v5 but 11v11...I can see some problems. We will eventually get the rotation slimmed down and feedback like this is just what we need.Last edited by P.Drona; 04-07-2009 at 11:55 PM.

Re: Server 2
I've posted in the admin forum that folks will be allowed to vote any time. The options available are to change the map to the next in the rotation, restart the current map or switch to a stock map. I think the Mover locations from server 1 for the stock maps are in the config but don't quote me on it. We'll try it like this and if folks don't abuse the privilege we're solid.

Re: Server 2
if its not a problem i was wondering if you could enable change map/game type so that if there is like 3 people playing we could change it to like hq or sab. something that

Re: Server 2
I know the game type thing is an issue because if you pick a game type that is ok for 3 people etc (like FFA), then more people start joining and they may be frustrated if its a game type that is not TG esque
(I am sure you recall all the WAW frustration the one night the admins tried some different game types, and that was still handled with TG gameplay in mind, so imagine is some people came into a big FFA battle...)
but I will let Drona expand on this
