    Server 1

    Server 1 hasn't seen any use lately so for the next couple of days, rather that disrupt server 2, we'll be testing OWP 1.5.4 on it. The map rotations are identical on the 2 servers during the testing. We want to know if sharing the usermaps folder and redirect will harm server performance.


    Unranked - no create a class. Most weps available. Some perks not available.

    Weapons -

    G3, G36 and M14 all sway the same as the other ARs when aiming down the sights.

    7.62 caliber rifles have more recoil than 5.56 rifles.

    All weps have an extra clip of ammo.

    M16 grenade launcher fires smoke grenades(will kill within 3 feet or so). It still sounds like a regular explosive round when it hits, so that needs some work. It's possible with the mod to rename it in the weps selection screen but I'm not that advanced with it yet. Other GLs should work as normal.

    GLs, demolitions, sniper and heavy gunner are limited to 2 per team.

    Smoke grenades last longer.

    Other stuff -

    The mod has 5 tiers of speed control versus weight now. This is the first time using the new system, so it might need tweaking.

    Larger maps have longer round timers and in some cases longer bomb timers. The round timer change seems to work, but the bomb timer changes may not. Needs testing.

    Bombsites - a few of the maps will randomly spawn either A alone, B alone or both sites.

    Once the Devs fix a code error, we will be able to introduce fog with an adjustable density to any map.


    If you play on Server 1 during the testing this week, keep in mind things might need to be tweaked with the weapons or other elements. Your feedback and suggestions will be appreciated.

    I Have some cool custom FX's I made for cod4 with the smoke if you'd like to use them
    with your smoke grenade launcher.

    i must say, knowing that it is a test and a WIP, i love the time we hjave with the smoke. i also like how the guns now have the kick back that each one of the deserves.

    the things that i saw was to slow us down a little bit and please lets have clays go live for everyone

    We are still doing some weps testing today. We are trying one the OWP alternate weapons config. With these settings, some of the weps sway, some don't. This will stay up for this evening so folks can try it and we can get some performance feedback.

    The Fog of War feature is now properly coded and included in our mod. Several of the maps have fog enabled, some at a higher density than others. We're just testing so we're looking for feedback on this feature.
