Re: Where'd everybody go?
I think that maybe server 1 should be near vanilla and server 2 modded. Two servers with a mod and custom maps IMHO is a little to much. There are alot of people that like the stock maps for their run and gun feel.
Get another TG vs TG scrim as noted above. Get ribbons out for the first one so that we can get a scrim 2 ribbon out for this scrim. Helps moral alot.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
The server 1 setup was only temporary to test the new version of the mod. It's getting moved over to server 2 today and sever 1 will return to the stock maps with mover and the older ranked version of OWP.
I'm not really sure that's the issue though. If you look at the charts that Extinct posted, only one server is ever really populated. Even when server 1 was ranked OWP everybody played on server 2. They only started playing server 1 again when the new mod was being tested. Personally, I think folks are burnt out on the stock maps even with new locations.
Another scrim is a great idea. That last one was epic.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
I think it's really cool that you're concerned about it and asking this question, Drona. For me, it's just RL getting in the way

The settings are great. I still wish there were things like no friendlies on maps, TKing clays, nametags only within 20 or so metres. Stuff that's been discussed before.
But it's still definitely my first choice server and I'll be playing again tonight or tomorrow or whatever

Re: Where'd everybody go?
It was RL for me...I'm just getting back after a five week absence due to eye surgery. I highly recommend avoiding it if possible - not that I had a choice.
I'd love a scrim if the timing works. Pick me last, though...I don't know the maps yet.|TG|MeleeClear Eyes, Full Hearts, Can't Lose!

Re: Where'd everybody go?
for me.. I jump in but dont see anyone, after awhile I bail, I dont have the patience to seed for to long...
as for Drona's comments about stock maps, I agree, stock maps are played out and get boring quick for me... however once the tested mod moves over to server 2, then I could see server 1 going back to vanilla I guess ,but I will be mostly on 2 if thats the case
I dig the idea of a catpn match with ribbons, would be a lot of fun

Re: Where'd everybody go?
I can't run the program for some reason.... It starts up, then I get the dreaded "iw3mp.exe has stopped working" message after a few minutes.

Call of Duty 4: “iw3mp.exe has stopped working” Error Fix
Posted in December 25th, 2007
by Shane Cotee in Video & Video Games
If you run into this error while trying to run Call of Duty 4 in multiplayer mode, there’s a pretty simple fix that worked for me:
Open the game’s installation folder (usually C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare) and open the “miles” folder. Rename mssmp3.asi to something else like mssmp3.bak. Whatever the file does, it shouldn’t be missed too much, and it should instantly fix the problem.
Other fixes I’ve read about include installing the v1.5 patch, updating your audio driver software, and plugging headphones into your headphone jack.

Re: Where'd everybody go?
I believe that KD was able to roll back a windows update and is now able to get on..
I myself had the problem initially because I was trying to start the game with my headphones plugged into my KVM instead of the actual game box..
Hopefully this will help some others..

Re: Where'd everybody go?
Sorry guys, RL has been keeping me away.
Every once in a while when I have some free time to play I have checked and both server 1 and 2 have been empty. WTH, where did everyone go?
