COD players using a MAC
One of the guys that plays regularly on the COD 4 servers, Bill, wants to get COD 4 for his nephew and he has a MAC.
He wants to know if it can be done, and what you need, if anything, to run COD 4 and play on-line. Any help (besides cracks that it's a
MAC) would be extremely appreciated. Thanks.

U silly kids.....Mac's are for burning cd'd using way overpriced hardware. PC's are for gaming.....darn kids
You've heard of Tier 1 and Seal team Six right?

Im pretty sure they make a COD mac game. As far as i know it should run and play just fine, but like mentioned above PM Vir2l about eet and your questions will be answered.

I (this is Henroast) play all my CoD 4 on my iMac. It runs perfectly. I purchased the game off of Aspyr's digital download site, but you can also buy a retail package. I don't have any problems with the game at all, no glitches or anything. So you don't really have to do much of anything, just buy the game.

I know blood...I shouldn't have.....but there hardware is so overpriced it's silly. They are nice machines though so lets not have a flamer war

Kids? really? uh no! Kids buy faulty PC hardware that runs windows and crashes all the time. Unless you buy a computer strictly designed to do word processing and gaming, buy/build a PC. If you want to record audio, edit video, do graphics, in a professional environment, buy a Mac..... oh wait, almost forgot, a mac can do both just fine. PC's just can't. Originally Posted by venman

Macs overpriced? No. You get what you pay for, no doubt! Their tech support is awesome, and the products they introduce are top of the line, industry leading, equipment/applications.
You want a quality operating system that does everything that a PC can do AND MORE? A computer that doesn't get viruses, doesn't require you to buy anti-virus software, and all the other crap tech support required products/apps to run it without "issues". BUY A MAC! If you want a "gaming system" buy/build a PC. I won't argue that point. A mac isn't a gaming system, but it does a hell of a job at anything you put it up to, not to mention Apple pushing the envelope in the computing world in general.
I hate the whole Mac, PC debate...... just as much as the democrat, republican politricking BS.
