Blitzkreig vs Low & Slow
I'm posting this in the general forums instead of "Tactics Discussion" to make it easier for our NEW players to find.
I had a conversation during Overgrown with a player that swore all was lost because we hadn't rushed from spawn to get the early positions on the map. Red had called for a three team approach to the A site and we did get pretty cut up that round but I think we prevailed. We did win the map 4-1 and we mixed 4F(find, fix, focus, flank) with mixed split fire teams.
This is a conversation we have had before and a search through the forum will shed even more light on the subject, I'll leave them for you to find. There is no right or wrong answer but remember to play team first whichever tactic is used.
Stealth has its place but I love it when you strike an objective swiftly with over-whelming force. It calls for teamwork and especially covering for teammates. I don't think there is any part of the game I like better than shooting someone who has a bead on one of my guys. It makes for a two player swing in the game (from us being one down to one up) and really makes me feel I contributed to the team.

Re: Blitzkreig vs Low & Slow
i do agree with you but on server 1 many people have the mindset of just rush because thats just the quickest way and because some of our newer players and brand new people dont know that the bomb carrier makes the rules and if he wants to stay in spawn so he can section you guys into teams then you do not just rush off with the excuse of im just gonna kill a few guys i'll listen. if the bomb carrier tells you to get down in spawn YOU GET DOWN IN SPAWN.
Sorry if thats a little off topic but i get really annoyed when everyone does that and i just wanna TK them. We're not retreating, we're advancing in another direction
