Stupid other servers
I'm irritated and have to post about this.
I thought I would just blow off some steam and hit a free for all server. I joined 24/7 Hardcore =MUD=. First map I was in first by a long shot. Second map I just inched out first at the last second. Then, on the third map, Overgrown, I was dominating with a score of 30-2. The map was about half way through and I got banned. For what? I played within the rules and if anyone was specing me, they would see I was not hacking.
I'll stick with TG servers. You play good on another server and they ban you. Ridiculous! I had the same thing happen about 5 months ago on a S&D server. I guess the so called clans don't like people other than their own being on the top of the scoreboard.

LOL! Same thing used to happen to me all the time playing CS...
I remember one time most prominently because I got 9 HS in a row. Instant ban...
I rarely play anything but TG now regardless of the game.
TG made me do it! :row__631: The 13th made me do it better! :madsmile:

least you didnt get kicked for wearing TG tags. Some stupid server said i was trying to hack into their clan and betray them to some 6FR...
And i got banned from a server cuz i joined them while in TG and they told me i can only be in one clan, they still didnt listen after i explained what TG was so i just play our server and a couple TDM and FFA that i like and i've got some friends who play there so i cant get banned.We're not retreating, we're advancing in another direction

I've been baned several times from COD4 servers for being at the top of the scoreboard. It annoys me. I guess they just can't take it when a sniper gets more kills than a run 'n gunner.
One more thing about other 'tactical' servers, I've noticed many of them have rules against using RPG's, rifle grenades and perks such as last stand. I can see their point that these features of the game do favour the run 'n gun style of play, however if used in moderation they can be used in 'tactical' game play. Our servers for example do not allow RPG's at round start but do not ban them completely. I prefer this approach by far, I can't tell you how many times I've been kicked from servers for pulling out the good old flamer on COD5 or the RPG on COD4 and not had time to read their rules that take half an hour to scroll through.
TG has some of the best tactical servers on the web, I just don't think it is necessary to ban certain weapons or not allowing anything but crouched movement to create a great tactical gameplay experience.
TG wins again.

It's been awhile since I have been out pubbing for MW or WaW. But, I do remember getting kicked and banned from other tactical servers (for camping?!) and regular pubbie RnG servers (for being too good/hacking). Hah! So, now I just stick to the SOG mod and don't have to deal with all the dillweed-pub-server-admins out there.

a good place is WOTC. they play virtually the same rules cept 30 seconds on the explosives and no last stand at all. They friendly towards me so you guys should get some friendliness to. They have a S&D and a TDM. S&d is a little less tactical than ours due to the fact that tthey have fewere mikes.

I hear ya there size I got banned on a server for shooting my pistol too fast? Lol. I dont use the mouse scroll either. And another one for being "shakey". I was pretty mad. TG > all other servers.

I got banned for using a tube.I was told to lose the tube (while i was 20 kills up) and asked why because there was no rules saying no tubes and just banned on the spot.
TG there is noyhing that come even close!!!!!!!!!!

It is annoying when you get banned for these kind of things, but on the other hand it can be very satisfying.
I was on WaW the other day on a non-TG server, I was using the flamer and had a fairly decent kill to death ratio. Needless to say one of the 'clan' members tells me to 'lose the flamer you n00b', I thought that's kinda immature but was happy to switch to my thompson. By the end of the match I was 1st on the score board and by a fairly long way.
Just a little story, but don't you just love it when you can own these kind of people that call everyone that's better than them a n00b. Makes me smile every time.
I love it when there is some kind of a challenge on games. I've been accused of hacking on Server 1 before. i was havin some very good rounds and someone told me to lose the hacks. I dont remember who it was that told me that, but i remember they had TG tags on.
I thought it was funny for one,
i have never used hacks ever (dont even kno how to get em),
and two,
i play on TG servers regularly and the only time im havin good rounds, im called a hacker. :P
But other than that incident, TG has the best servers i've ever played on.
((Sometimes, you just gotta take it Slow...e))
