What version
I've not played this game for a year. I can't seem to get on a server. My game has 1.7.528 written on the intro screen. Is there a later patch? How do I check if I have the latest? Thanks!

It's been a few months since I have fired up CoD4, but my version number is 1.7.568. I think this is the latest patch.

I'd suggest updating your PunkBuster too. It was acting up not too long ago, and an update fixed it for me.
((Sometimes, you just gotta take it Slow...e))

Hey there! Check these things......
1) check your punkbuster and make sure it's up to date using pbsetup.exe which can be found Here
2) check your version by bringing the game up in multiplayer and on the first screen look in the bottom right hand corner..... it should read 1.7.568. If it doesn't download from HERE as this is one of the faster sites to download from - at least for me it is.
