"Hunter" is probably the first screen name I ever came up with, ever. Before that I just used my first name.
Before I entered the realm of online gaming, my only multiplayer experiences were when I got to join LAN parties held by my older brother (by 6 years) and his friends. My brother always used (and still uses) the simple screen name "Killer". He played as a sniper a lot, and therefore so did I. So one day I came up with "Hunter" because I wanted a good sniper name.
So there you have it, the tale of two brothers, Hunter and Killer. Catchy title right?
