Re: Where did your name come from?
Well my real name is Craig which is very close to Krag.
Plus there are not many people that use Krag so that was a added bonus.
Wish I could tell you some great story about why I use that name But there
isn't one But I will share this with you my name is also a rifle.

kin3 (as in Ken and then three)
My name is Kinnie and I'm the third one, dad was jr. The family always called me Ken so I came up with kin3.

Re: Where did your name come from?
But that doesn't explain where the typo came from!
"Balfa" is sad. It comes from The Balfa Brothers, a cajun band. I'm not a particular fan of theirs, or anything. I just knew the name and thought it sounded a bit cool. I actually entered it in my Half-Life multiplayer settings screen when that game first came out, but long before I ever played it online. Then a couple of years later I got a decent internet connection (still not broadband, back then), and went to play Half-Life online and there was the name I'd entered, so it stuck.

Re: Where did your name come from?
I actually have a rolling block Krag rifle that probably saw duty in the Philippines. Its at the gunsmiths now having the front sight blade repaired.
I think I've told this story before. My Dad called me Bronco after an old football player (Bronko Nagurski http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geu5UN6H...ronko_Nagurski) and my Grandmother called me LP (short for Little Pat-which was better than being called "Repeat" 'cause I looked like my Dad as a kid) When I needed an ID for my e-mail I put the two together and you know the rest.

a.m.u. 107.9 = the wieght of one silver atom.
Silver on the periodic chart of elements is Ag. Which has been my nickname all my life or for as long as I can remember.
Now for HaveANiceDay, that came about because I was having a really bad day.
So I decided that it would be a nice play on words when I killed someone in game.
If it would show for example in the obituaries displayed:
Obiwan [rifleimage] by HaveANiceDay.
Alot of people got it and would use it against me until I got good enough to beat them into submission. Then everyone would say "Oh, NO! It's HaveANiceDay!"

Re: Where did your name come from?
My game and forum name comes from dj, wich I used to be one..
Started spining tunes on my own birthday party's, wich kinda grew to getting payed for playing the music on other peoples party's.
Playing the cd's started to bore me so I kinda grew into a sound engineer job @ a profesional sounds equitment rental shop owned by a good friend of mine.
I also used to have my own radio show @ the local radio station off the town I live in.
that all is long time ago but the name stuck with me..

Cap is short for Capblackout
When I was a tester at interplay I passed out one day at work, and it became my gaming name from then on

My shoe size is 12.5. Pretty exciting story I know. I wish it had to do with something else but it doesn't.

Re: Where did your name come from?
Maybe "Cap" is from some ancient dialect that means a "..mewling little n00b" or something like that!
