There is not another tactical game out like this!
You guys are awesome to play with, and I got used to seeing a game every night. Now, unfortunately, I'm lucky to see a game every 14 days.
I'd like to think I'm just missing time slots with ya'll! I think I recall Thursdays used to be set aside? I don't have any unfiltered access while at work to check forums and keep up with things, so maybe I missed the memo ;-) Is everyone playing at a different time?
I know WaW took a lot away, but I just can't bring myself to play yet another WW2 game lol

its a little slow these days, but there is usually a game everyday... just keep checking, try to seed it too, if its empty try to sit on it for 10 minutes or so if you can

I don't think I have ever played with you in CoD4, but it is good to see you back. I know you said you don't want to play another WWII game, but with the SOG mod installed, it makes it a very tactical game, that just happens to be based in WWII. Some of the most tactical games I have ever played here at TG, have been while playing WaW. You should come check it out.
Besides, I have stolen most of the CoD4 crew and placed them on display on the WaW server.

I was so not down with WWII games but I jumped on the bandwagon when WaW came out. The single player was mucho fun as is Zombie mode. I soured on the run and gun and until the SOGmod came out I stopped playing it. The tac realism is awesome and has given it a whole new life. I like it so much that I ported my CoD4 map over to it.
I'm not saying you should drop dough on it because with MW2 coming out soon who knows what will happen with the player base. But, if you want to get in on the action and you have money burning a hole in your pocket, you could do worse.

Yep! What they said sums it up for me as well. I've never been a big fan of WWII games either. But the SOG MOD on WAW just takes the cake. I actually crave it from time to time and I can't say that about MW anymore.

I have to say, even though I paid the cover charge just so I could get inside the club where my friends were hanging out, I don't enjoy WaW as much as MW. I only play it cos that's what everyone's playing. Sometimes I just turn out the lights, lean back, and pretend that it's really CoD4 I'm playing.
And this is coming from someone who has nothing against WWII games in general.

Try and use GameTracker for checking for population or even see what days we fill up the MW server. Really helpful tool.
