    iw3mp.exe stopped working

    I had this issue last night. After trying all the fixes I just uninstalled the game and reinstalled it after backing up my profile etc... Seems to be working fine now. Not sure what corrupted.

    Question:
    I have like 6 OWP mods one for each version. Do I need to keep all the rest or just the version 163 folder?

    OWP 163 rev is the only version you need at present.

    Okay good - I will get rid of the rest. Also I only put back the maps that are in rotation on our server because I had a bunch of maps.

    I had that error the other night also. It was when a new map was dl'ng, I just restarted and it ran. I'm running Win 7.

    change the mssmp3.asi in the miles folder to .bat

    I tried it and that wouldn't work. I tried all of the know fixes that came up in a search on Google then just reinstalled the game.
