Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

Loved the demo. I am expecting a lot from the multiplayer... with the rank system, perks with its customization, UAV, airstrikes and all that nice additions. Hope the maps are bigger than CoD2 ones.

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

I've also pre-ordered ($15 down) and I'm just waiting on the sale of a textbook so I can pay off the rest of the pre-order. Then I can pick it up on the 6th and begin the mayhem!

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

This is perhaps the first time I've been in the COD forums as I was looking for some thoughts on COD4. I never played any of the COD games but after playing the COD4 demo I'm a happy convert

I had a great time with the demo and can't wait for the MP TG style

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

After both the demo and their past history of making awesome games, it just can not be bad.
I still like the crysis engine better but real warfare story telling thats what Infinty ward is best on. Hopefully the multiplayer turns out great so we can get as many TG players playing this game as possible.

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

On my machine COD4 looks better than crysis and the gameplay in single player is clearly superior. I will be picking this one up next week

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

Yeah, I was curious, maybe just keeping this forum, but renaming it COD Series or something. Then adding the COD4 Sub-forum.

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

Thanks whoever updated the forum. I'm pretty excited to get back into COD, I mainly skipped part 2 on the PC, and pretty much skipped it on the 360, played the SP missions, then played some COD3, which shouldn't even been allowed to use the COD name, since its mp was lackluster.

So I'm ready to get back in with infinity ward this time. I loved the beta, except for couple of the maps, and having to play on the 360.

Re: CoD4 --Opinions?

Some EBgames/Gamestops in major cities already have it. I went to mine today, but they only got the console versions same-day shipping, saying the PC version won't be in for another two days. Jerks. Anyways, not much is more entertaining than Call of Duty singleplayer campaign. I'm excited.

Alright cool, I think I'll be picking this up tomorrow. Hope we get our server up by then. Does anyone know if CC is going to have it for $40?
