Disable splash screens

I have never been a big fan of the splash screens/movies at the beginning of games.. after seeing them once or twice, I start hammering on the spacebar/ESC/Enter keys to bypass them. In BF2 and its mods you can rename the .../Bf2/mods/poe2/movies file to movies1 to disable them

Well, I figured out how to do it for COD4...
C:/Program Files/Activision/COD4/Docs/images .. rename images to images1.
The folder is still there, if want to see them again, just rename the file and remove the "1".

To disable music in game, rename the "miles" folder under...
Program Files/Activision/cod4/miles.

As with the splash screens, this disables the music but it is still there if you want to enable them later

I think I have started filtering out the music because I rarely hear it anymore. Usually the challenge achievement music is really annoying but I haven't been noticing it lately. I'm definitely going to disable the music though or at least parts of it. I still like that sound when somebody drops the explosives.

I always thought music was server side
