Discussion: Call of Duty Archives / Call of Duty - Maps and Modifications - Map Suggestions - I am going to be making some maps and wanted to get suggestions. If so
I am going to be making some maps and wanted to get suggestions. If so then post them here in the format of "Game Name - Map Name" so I can find references to them. I may even have to put some pinups of Jessica Alba on the walls to distract the other team.

Re: Map Suggestions
Hi guys just wanted to mention that there is a Maps and Mods section for CoD4.
So if you plan on posting maps you are starting or thinking of making.
Go ahead post your project in http://www.tacticalgamer.com/call-du...modifications/
The thing I like about the current maps are they are well thought out. You have nice defensive spots to watch a bomb site but not a super duper uber sniper spot that can scan the whole map. I like that each vantage point gives you a fire zone that isn't extreamly broad. Attackers also have some cover and options to advance up the map. However on some maps we have only two viable routes, the map fails to breed any tactics.
Could we take the current maps and buffer them with an additional street, field or route on either side and perhaps push the spawn areas back a bit? I think this along with moving the bomb sites around would be nice. I don't want larger maps just for the sake of them being big. They need to offer cover and routes for both teams not just a big open area to snipe or LMG over. Though Overgrown plays well with some large open shooting lanes but it does offer cover as well.
