[Released] - mp_sharqi Final
Yes this is a recreation of Sharqi from BF2, one of my favorites too. Zeroy who created Tactical Night Mod is creating this map for CoD4, and I'm very excited for it, and cannot wait for it to be finished. I think he is focusing more on the 16 player size of sharqi, considering the 64 player size is extremely large for CoD4 standards, since CoD4 does not offer vehicle support.

This is the Final release of the map. Most bugs have hopefully been caught, it is Final version unless a major bug is found.

NOTES: !!! Only tested on 1.5 and AWE4 1.2 !!!
Changes in this version:

- New minimap
- New Loadscreen
- TV Station sides can be accessed again
- Added way around the hills between Axis spawn and TV Station
- Removed Leaking/Explosive barrels (issues with oil decals)
- Added breakable glass to the Double container and fence
- Added night version with modded building/added models
The map

It took well over 200 hours from start to finish (started on 19/01/08)
* 11 Fx are used in the map
* Scripts used for elevator, breakables, fan spining
* 146 Textures in use
* 963 terrain patches (including blending layers)
* Near 14000 models placed in map (not unique
)

I'm trying to convince Zeroy to also do a version of Mashtuur. I'd also like a version of Songhua Stalemate done, although I'm not sure how the water would work, they'd either have to make you die, or stand on top. Swimming does not seem to work well in COD.

He's actually taking some of the buildings, and adding interiors to them. One feature BF version does not have.
