My latest map Download

It's the mp_krutzenfleig map.

I've added some more to it. Let me know if it's on any server too, if you could, so I can actually shoot someone and see if the distance of the map fades out any of the grass. I'd like to know what the drawing distance is for future reference and to modify my current 2 maps if needed.

I'm getting the big red blob in the middle of my screen. Size can you update your zone file?

I cant download anything doesn't show as having any files

Well this is frustrating .... I just uploaded a new compiled zipfile with everything that needs to be in it to run the game. Before that, I took the 2 new .FF files and the IWD files that I just redid and put it into my usermap folder. I started a game and then consoled /map mp_krutzenfleig and it ran perfectly. I hope this works now. I never tried to run the first upload this way. I only ran it through the compiler.

I just downloaded the new file to make sure it downloads with everything in it. It looks good. Not really sure why you were getting an empty file.

The red blob of death shouldn't show up either. All of the assets are updated.

Hope this works. Can you try it again? Man...I'm a big pain in the butt.

Sorry I just downloaded your new version and still get the red blob. Not sure what else could be wrong. Are you updating the zone file and then building it again?

Yeah...I just added the missing assets and then recompiled and checked again to make sure all of the missing ones were gone. ((cuss word here))

I'll work on this some more. Sorry, for wasting your time with this.

Trial and error buddy, nothing wrong with that. I gave up the editor. I'm just to lazy, and lack motivation.

Hey no problem, you're not wasting my time. I'm glad someone from here is trying to make maps. I feel your pain Undead. I've been trying to play around with the editor every night, but it feels a little overwhelming.

Hey jmaker. Could you do me a huge favor and try running the map using different teams, switching up the guns and maybe DM and SD if possible. I know it sounds like a lot but I've ran the updater 5 times and then recompiled and FF'd it and still no missing assets. If you can get it to work using different methods then I can narrow down the problem and fix it.

Also, and even better yet, can you tell me what team and gun you were using so I can try and get the red flag of crap too?

Sure thing, but how would I switch up the modes?

EDIT: well I just tried the 3 different classes and each team and it didn't matter. Maybe if we upload it to the mod server and see if that works there.

Not sure how to switch up the classes. I was hoping you had a special trick I didn't know about..lol. I'm thinking i need to save my .map files and just uninstall and reinstall the whole radiant/call of duty program. Nothing like starting over fresh.

I'll delete all of the files for this map and try it from the beginning again, minus the actual map file.
