I'm uploading as I'm typing. I opened up the outside border of the map. Fixed everything that Killdaddy has mentioned (thanks again for all the input). I finally got the minimap working. I don't have a load screen yet (reason for it being beta1 and if any more changes need to be made, then I'll add a loadscreen for the final). Exploding barrels, only two exploding cars (takes up too many xmodels, I'm already maxed out for xmodels). I'd like to add more outside the playable area but, it's getting to be too many items in the map (would cause some serious lag).
I'll run around the map later today and post some screens.
What a frustrating, banging head against the wall, annoying, error popping experience it was to get my first map ever done! I hope somebody appreciates this map.

Man I love the map. Hope you didn't take my criticism as being too harsh. Just trying to help ya iron out the small stuff you might have looked over. I've opened the tools once and got so confused my head just about exploded. You are the man for being able to create maps at all, let alone fantastic looking ones such as this.
I don't take any comments as being harsh. I actually like people to be straight forward and not blow smoke up my a$$. I hope you like my beta1 version of the map.

I want to know if it sucks or not. The only issue I see with it is the minimap is off by a little bit around the edges of the map. I'll fix this in beta2 or final when I add the loadscreen.
one tiny issue. there's an area on the north side of the map that needs to be closed off. otherwise you can walk off the edge of the map into infinity, lol.
Also, on the south side, you can get up on some of the higher buildings and jump the fence there. :P
Well I'll be. I didn't think you could get over there. I guess you can by jumping from the ledge to the roof of the bus. I can fix it....my famous last words.
I'll fix that and work on a loadscreen for my final. I'll wait a few days to see if anyone else notices any other issues too. Thanks Daddy.

Easy fix. I'll just put a really tall player clip around the entire playable area. (I had this at one time but then deleted it) That'll eliminate any possibility of leaving the playing area.
sweet. might be able to get more asplodin cars too if you remove the 2 that are off the playable area on the south side of the map in the garage areas.
Strange world aint it 12 I still visit my old clan VS-UK to play when things are quiet on the TG servers.
They have your map mp_krutzenfleig in rotation while we have one of their maps mp_Recondelta made by Recon on ours.

That is strange! I really don't enjoy playing my map at all. When I play it, the whole time I'm thinking of all the things I should have done differently. I'm glad you like it though. If and when I start a new map, my process will a lot more thought out.
