OpenWarfare 1.4.0.BETA1 for CoD5:WaW has been released!

Hello! The last couple of weeks since the Mod Tools have been released have been very exciting and we've been working day and night porting all the features from OpenWarfare into World at War.

We have implemented almost all the features but we are not done yet. We still need to work on the unranked part of the mod but we are already actively working on it and we expect to have it ready soon.

Please remember that this is a beta version so we hope to get as much feedback as possile to be able to fix any issues that might still be lurking around the code.

Please visit our download section to download this OpenWarfare version (remember that betas and release candidates are only avaiable for registered forum users).

That is some good news..now if we can get some of the map making guys busy on some more "TG Style" maps, then we will be ROCKIN'..!!

* option to force the use of initial spawns in team deathmatch to ensure players spawn in the correct side in sniper-type maps.

* Option to tweak last stand so the players will need to have a pistol and pistol ammo on their inventory to successfully go into last stand mode.

Also awesome! no last stand for people with overkill or who are out of pistol ammo, bwahahahaha

* New bind key to drop the bomb.

* Power rank mode. With power rank mode a player will be promoted to level 65 as soon as they connect to the server unlocking all their weapons. Special attachments will also be automatically unlocked.

If this had been enabled for Cod4 version, it would have stopped a lot of bitching and moaning, and brought more players to the game.

* Option to delay the use of frag grenades, special grenades, satchels, bettyes, bazookas, and grenade launchers at the beginning of each round (option to delay the assignment of explosives every time the player spawns or just at the beginning of the round).

Now Redneck can't have betty's to cause TK's like the claymores in CoD4..!! hahahahah

We have both of these on the CoD 4 modded Openwarfare server.

You ought to change it to let it level peopleup so they can have their junk back..maybe the kiddos will quit their crying using that as their excuse for RNG on Server 1 and come play the good maps on Server 2..!
