COD5 new maps report + testing

I've downloaded a few maps. Here's the breakdown for what we may be able to use on the WaW server.

Stalemate- Already on test server. yes

78bedroom- You're basically a mouse in an oversized room. Not really sure it would work. Too many open areas. no

78estate- A night time map. I couldn't get any night vision to work. Not sure if there even is night vision. Not horrible but not really good either. temporary

gardenofheat- Very plain looking. Kind of small. Not good for us. no

ripac- Too small and plain. no

waw_burgundy- Too small and plain. no

snowypark- (remake) I like the looks but it's a little open for a sniperfest and you have to run to the middle of the map to get the bomb. temporary if bomb is moved

beltot- Nice sizing. Has tanks. Could possibly work until better maps come out. temporary

mohaa_dv- (remake, hence the name) Looks a little small and kind of bland. Not sure about this one. Didn't run around it enough. temporary

ND4- At first glance I really like this one. It's defenitely worth a try. yes

Killhousev2- It's killhouse. Enough said. no comment.

Kalsville- So so. Has tanks. Might not be enough good ways to get across the map without being sniped. Worth a look. temporary

oldbrecourt- (remake) Has tanks and seems to be much bigger than the original version. Worth a looksy.yes

bocage2- (remake) Not sure if this one has as much detail as the original. Maybe good for a few weeks at most until we get bored with it. temporary

newvillers- Looks like a decent sized map. Worth a try. yes

georgian_bay- I kept spawning inside the barrel of my gun. Not sure what's going on with this map. Might be a little small from the little that I saw of it. no or temporary

Thanks Size. I'm downloading Beltot, Mohaa DV, ND4, Kalsville, Old Brecourt and Newvillers right now.

I haven't looked at ND4 yet, but here's what I was able to look at:

Old Brecourt - could work for a while. Maybe change bomb sites. The map over view is not correct - upside down inverted mirror thing that kinda makes it useless.

Kalsville - On the bigger side. Should be good.

Stalemate - big map, works good for S&D.

Newvillers could be a good map but there is a problem with the weapons graphics so you can't use your guns.

Beltot - very small and not too pretty to look at.

Mohaa_dv - too small

Re: COD5 new maps report + testing

After toying around with the maps some more on Sunday...I agree. I didn't have any issues with Newvillers. I wonder if it's mod noncapable. Also, I believe the ND4 map is called Docks.

Thanks for looking at them Drona. I should have ran around them more than I did.
