    If we can't get the mod working right, is it at least possible to get rid of the crosshairs? In this game, I think the crosshairs really spoil the action.

    You can remove your own crosshairs under multiplayer options if you want.

    I don't really care if there's zoom or not with the iron sights, but I definitely don't like the crosshairs.

    Bone, I'm messing around with a WRM server on my local machine. How did you get the weapon iron sights zoom to work? Except for the sniper rifles, I can't get the iron sights to zoom. Is it something outside of wrm.cfg?

    Yes, it is a configurable thing in wrm.cfg... noWeapZoom

    I have set this to both "0" and "1" on my local server without the correct results. I remember this being an issue some weeks ago, but never learned what the fix was. Bone, did you set another value somewhere else to fix this?

    I actually prefer NOT having iron sights zoom enabled, as this is more realistic than having your naked eyes increase their magnification somehow when peering down the weapon's iron sights. But, I also remember that folks raised a furor about not having zoom on the iron sights, so I was trying to make sure I got this working correctly.

    More progress......I have the ammo loadouts fixed, so we can now carry around realistic amounts of ammo in-game. This was actually some tweaking I had to do in wrm.cfg. Things are really coming together now.

    Bone, would you mind putting a copy of your wrm.cfg in the "Strag" folder on the FTP server? I'd like to grab it and tweak it to match my local version so the ammo loadouts work correctly.

    There is also an updated version of TGWeapons.iwd in the "Strag" folder on the FTP server. This version has further tweaks, and it includes versions of the BAR, Bren, and MP44 that have more recoil. It's ready to go on the server whenever you're ready for it.
