    Also, if you just glance at the map name it looks like "mp_discomfort".

    Extract the map to your cod2/main folder. Then fire up multiplayer and start your own server. You can choose the maps to play from a list on the right of the server setup menu.

    You can also have a look at the server browser and see if you can find a server that is palying your map.

    The allies spawn point. The first closest objective is Objective B in the village up ahead. The allies have basically two exits from thier spawn point; across the bridge or they can go left around the green bush and along a bit further.


    To the distance is the alternative route. That silvery-blue stuff is supposed to be water but it doubles as a mine field. It's quite deep and if you jump into it you get blown up.


    This MG covers the bridge and the far route but it is highly doubtful that an enemy will get to it before the allies leave the spawn area.


    This is the hill that the allies must scramble up to get to the first village. There is not much cover so lots of fire and movement and suppresion will be required from the allies.


    Here is the first village and the first objective. There are lots of multiple story building and a lot of cover. This is a good place for the SMG guys to show thier worth by clearing out buildings.


    This is the first village again and Objective B.


    This is the main road between the two villages. The trees are the only real cover.


    Objective A. This will be a tough one. It's in between two villages so the allies will have to make sure that the first village is secure and that the second village is covered. Sorry Trooper, I couldn't find a way into that church steeple.


    A lot of bushes but not much real cover. Smoke will probably have to be used.


    The second village. Can you spot both mg's?



    The map is very promising indeed. A lot of the fighting will probably take place in the first village at objective B. A potential problem we may have is rushing. Both team must get out of thier spawn points quickly to avoid being caught out in the open. This is a very large map the will probably fit well at TG. The riflemen, snipers and SMG's will each have important roles.

    Verdict: Promising, needs more testing on a full server.
