WTHell! Ok, now I am glad I never preordered the freaking game!
If I wanted a console game I would have purchased it on the console and then had a sudden and interesting lifestyle change(interesting in the chinese proverb interesting!!!)!

I won't play ARMA, OFP2.. seems like MW2 is gonna take a dive in like a week... probably worst sales since the release in the 90's. FRACK!!!!!
sigh ... sigh... Ugghhh! and Frack!

I was going to preorder today, but some thing came up...I am glad it did....64(after tax) game only co-op....OFP2 will be server based soon, I am glad I got that.....

So if MW2 mods would not be possible.
PC has been turned into console.
It will make servers and games uniform across the board setup and rule-wise.

So it will be all run and gun.....

Up side, we will not have heart attacts or break legs from 6 foot jumps....

heart attacks are not fun, true ... But, 6 foot drops and breaking ankle help cut down RnG..

Red, the min drop height you take damage at in SOGmod is 135 inches. That's 11 ft 3 inches - not 6 feet. If you hit the jump key prior to jumping, that's adding another 39 inches to your leap. There's also a less than 50% chance you'll actually break something at the minimum height. If you are injured, there is only a 5% chance of a heart attack. Take better care where you try and jump and it won't happen at all.

Well with that news they just saved me money as well as the thousands and thousands of other players that play COD because of the fact that it could be modded.

I feel they are moving to a mass convergence of PC and game system play. I talked to a kid at EB and he told me that his store will stop carrying PC games all together.

That link is my theory why, pay per use in PC OS and gaming, all online, ….Microsoft has had this patent for 2 years now….Sony has a like patent, Nintendo I bet has one to….

There are strong rumors of the Infinity Ward forums about a "confirmation" made by IW: There will be no dedicated server support for the game.

That's right; no ability for gamers to host their own dedicated servers.

Well, I'll be cancelling my pre-order tomorrow. Guess I'll have to wait for Starcraft 2, Diablo 3 and Final Fantasy XIV to get a new game.

On the up side, no more rush to build a new computer.

I think they're shooting themselves in the foot really. Well, both feet. And both legs. I know I'll be cancelling my pre-order now, and will likely be bored as hell for a while.

No servers, this is going to be pretty much just like console.

I can't help thinking this is an EXTREMELY elaborate hoax, as it's pretty much confirmed, but I can't understand what possible reason they'd do such a thing.

If it's true, this game will be dead for most TGers before release.
