Wow, that is quite interesting. It seems the PC community are hitting them, even if just a little bit.
Unfortunately they will probably rise after they release it.

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
If the developers are all about the almighty buck then they would be fools to ignore the revenue made from pc games, if I was the owner of Activision/IW I would sack the person that lost us all those millions of dollars of revenue.

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
Ok doesn't TG have some of the largest servers for various games in the world? wouldnt that give some influence including the fact that we are no tth eonly tactical community? They need to realize that the auto server choice is standard for a console because it might overheat if given choices... But a PC player is a whole new market who mainly buys it because they can choose who they play with, what their ping is and even control the rules on the server. If enough voices shout out it might give them reason to think otherwise and create dedicated servers.

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
Not to take away from the point, but EA, Take Two, THQ, Microsoft, Sony, are all down due to the market itself.

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
We might have a large community and quite a few servers, but we aren't as big as you think we are. There are bigger fish in the pond than us, but even if most of the larger gaming communities/clans banded together to hit this issue, I doubt we'd make any dent in their decision. Especially if we're dealing with a top executive who cares more about money and profit then he/she does about games and the communities that support them.

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
seriously you want activision to die? Its not there fault... I love activision they got better games than THQ, Ubisoft and ea combine
With out activision we wouldn't have a ID product, or Guitar hero,
But yeah heads are going to roll at IW now since that happen...
IW might as well use those riot shields they made LOL
IW is a COD battlefield now

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
Everyone needs to remember that IW is the developer not the publisher and the devs work for the publishers. They work under their rules and guidelines and get paid to produce accordingly. So Activision is directly responsible for the content of this game not Infinity Ward.
If Activision has made a corporate decision to no longer support the PC community then THEY MUST DIE
(I know they're not gonna miss my $60 but I can pray for a flop
)

Re: NASDAQ:ATVI down 1.5
id didn't always use Activision as they're publisher, if you look at the wiki page the original publisher of DooM is... id, and then Midway Games, and then GT Interactive. If Activision never existed id would be with someone else.
On the matter of Activision as much as I think they're all money grubbers, but I don't personally think IW.net is all Activision, no IW. I mean, they themselves already said that they always wanted to be console devs, but Activision got them to be PC oriented.
