Dedicated Servers Aren't "Off the Table"
http://www.gamerzines.com/pc/news/mw...d-servers.html
Infinity Ward's Mackey McCandlish has said that the prospect of dedicated server support eventually being included in the PC version of Modern Warfare 2 isn't "off the table" and that the team is "always evaluating (their) options".
Sounds like damage control but its the first IW dev I've read that has parted from the "company line". Keep signing the petition and if your planning on getting this anyway just hold off a little while (PC or console) to make them sweat when inventory doesn't move as projected. I promise that I won't hold it against you that you bought this (in a year or two )

If they were to include it, I would drop the cash for the game.

Me too. If they added dedicated servers, it would be daft not to purchase the game after protesting against the lack of them.
Dedicated servers, only 1200 MS points!

Re: Dedicated Servers Aren't "Off the Table"
I'm still wondering why they don't use their stupid IWnet thing for dummies and also incorporate the option to use dedicated servers as well. It would please the masses to have the option as to how you want to play the game. Just like when you click on LAN, Friends and Favorites. It could have IWnet, Dedicated servers, LAN, Friends and Favorites.

Re: Dedicated Servers Aren't "Off the Table"
Yeah, I'm afraid I won't be getting it until it has dedicated servers AND mod tools.
Without both of those, then how could it be more fun than CoD4 or CoD WaW at TG?
