    Re: A Brief Review

Some of us love the engine that CoD is built on (quake, if you didn't know) and yes the tactics and teamplay are harder to achieve in a game that rewards the fast and the quick but this isn't a discussion about "other" games nor is it a discussion about what is or isn't "TG". If you have something to add then by all means add it but leave this forum to those who are trying to share their experiences and find other like minded souls.

If you don't like the way the other games are handled then again respond in the appropriate forums.

You're missing my point, man. The entire MW community has been pooped on. Not just TG. You're complaining about a needle amidst a haystack of 5,000-8,000 other servers, many of which were simply vanilla/hardcore servers running the stock maps. No extra stuff required to play. No P2P nonsense. Admins present and ready to boot asshats. And definitely no 9v9 stuff. I'm not even talking about "tactical" servers. I played on the 50 player monster firefight servers. What wasn't fun about the experience I had? I sure had fun, and I only uninstalled the game a week ago to make room for Dragon Age.

So all that has been taken away and players have now been bottled into a controlled and restrictive environment. I'm no fan of that decision. It's your money, you're having fun, great... but that doesn't mean the game couldn't have been better.

Most worrisome, you may have given support and contributed to a precedent that doesn't bode well with the PC environment and the community that it fosters.

Indeed it is worrisome.....I may very well have changed PC gaming forever by enjoying a perfectly good game....damn me, damn me to hell!

You've heard of Tier 1 and Seal team Six right?
Were not those guys....were the 16TH.

We'll let it go this time, but don't let it happen again.
