Apparently they are able to hack the server and send virus/trojans to people, in the process they run aimbot in the game, and send a non tagged member to the other team to TK.

So is this IW idea of a joke when iwnet is suppose to be hack free when yet its probably less secure then a Windows 98 system with no protection?

I'm happy about all the fail in the release. Hopefully others will learn not to try this crap on PC games.

its funny, game companies have been relying on the community to add content to (flesh out and extend the life of) their games for a decade, and now all of a sudden they think no one's gonna figure this stuff out?

Virus is declared a false positive. Valve moderators lock threads saying its fear mongering with no evidence. IWnet moderators, are all on vacation.

Seems to be non-detectable by most other scanners

I posted in the other thread, but I believe I caught this trojan (2 of them), or rather my AV (Avira) caught it this morning while I was on playing a few rounds with a friend. I had to CTRL+ALT+DEL to get to desktop to quarantine the bugs.

Scary how usually one doesn't get virus through a game system. Another big downside of a P2P game network I was hoping wasn't going to be exploited so soon. Guess Activision never caught on as to why millions don't download anything from any P2P network.
