Re: Kit Setups!
Yeah OMA (pro) means 3 seconds to reload all ammo, all equipment. You can move when using it, and the only downside is no secondary weapon. But who needs it when you never run out of your primary weapon!
Scavenge gives you extra clips (almost defeats the purpose of scavenge honestly), but the real downer is that you have to go pick up the blue bags off of defeated opponents. That's tough to do when you're shooting them from across the map.

Re: Kit Setups!
If you want OMA, pick on slot to hold it... you will never run out of ammo if you select the same kit over and over again... I have gotten a nuke that way on rust. stood at the top and killed everybody over and over again with an M16A1. AC313(or whatever) chopper gunner...THEN BAM! NUKE TIME! never ran out of ammo, got tons of kills and ended the game in 6 min

Re: Kit Setups!
Claymores are worthless, I only ever get killed by them if I'm not paying attention. Marathon Pro and/or Lightweight and you are out of blast range before they go off. With Sit Rep it will be like putting a giant target on you. BTW, I thought OMA switches could only happen once in multiplayer? And yes, I get that you can set up another class with OMA to swap to, but I thought it was somehow prevented on PC. Obviously I never use it because I abhor tubing, and if I'm on a scar then I've probably got scavenger which is fine because I don't really camp with that gun.

Re: Kit Setups!
You can repeat swap OMA with the same OMA kit infinite times. And, you can place something like 3+ claymores. While claymores can be destroyed in so many ways, all the running and gunning makes them quite useful when placed correctly (in places where you cant sprint past it).

Re: Kit Setups!
I'm a claymore noob, so please enlighten me, I really do need to learn to use them. The only point I can envision someone not being able to sprint past them is if you put them at the top of a climbable object.
I played with OMA yesterday, and I must say it is very nice for Domination maps. The ability to set C4 or Claymores and then reload them is nice and if you are tubing then you can cover 2 nodes almost by yourself (3 nodes if you put your claymores/C4 at the one node you can't see). Most maps seem setup so that you can reasonably cover 2 different nodes at the same time, but with a tube and OMA you make it so that they must kill you before even trying for the node.

Re: Kit Setups!
Plus when you shoot a missle towards a pavelow or an AC130, they shoot out flares so its really hard to touch them before you run out of ammo
Its easier to get the pavelow though.

Special nade: Flash

Perk 2: Cold-Blooded Pro

Anyone else notice how few snipers are about (I count 4)? Shame.
Anyway, this works like a charm basically any situation
On hard core WA is nearly always 1-hit kill at long range and auto shotty can be used for relocating/capturing positions/defending sniping spots etc.
I also have one of those noobtube+OMA classes but for some reason it feels like cheating (unlimited 203s)
BTW whats the deal with everyone using SCARs? 90% of my deaths are random people sprinting up with SCARs, blind-spraying me to death then sprinting off.

I've been using these two classes on FFA and have been having a ton of fun doing so. I picked up akimbo P90s one time and it was EPIC. I'd highly recommend using these on CQC maps.

Re: Kit Setups!
After hitting my first prestige, here's an update to what I like for kits:
Main: Steyr-Aug w/ Grip and/or ACOG scope
Secondary: Spas-12 w/ Grip
Equipment: Semtex
Special: Stun grenade
Perk 1: Scavenger pro or Bling pro
Perk 2: Stopping power
Perk 3: Ninja Pro
Ninja pro may seem like an odd choice but I use it like I would SitRep pro if I ever took the time to unlock it. I'm partial to this setup because I got my first two nukes last night using it on Underpass and Estate.
My preferred sniper setup since Ghilly seems so displeased with the lack of them:
Main: M14 EBR w/ Silencer or Thermal scope
Secondary: Spas-12 w/ Grip or G-18 Akimbo
Equipment: Claymore or Tactical Insertion depending on the map
Special: Smoke or Flashbang depending on the map
Perk1: Sleight of Hand Pro
Perk 2: Stopping Power Pro
Perk 3: Steady Aim Pro

Re: Kit Setups!
I know what you mean... though you cant blame them for using it, its accuracy is fantastic and the dmg it deals out can be easily changed with a few perks and boosts such as FMJ plus there is barely any recoil. The only downside with it is the small magazine. The gun can adapt to pretty much any situation on any level of the game. (thats why SCAR stands for "Special Forces Combat Assault Rifle")

Oh and BTW, that kit combo is really good i use something along the lines of that, but i have
WA2000+FMJ
Raffica+silencer
claymore
smoke
Sleight of Hand pro
Stopping Power Pro
Ninja Pro
my other sniper kit is what i use most
Intervention+Thermal+FMJ
Model 1887 Akimbo+FMJ
Semtex
Flash
Bling Pro
Cold Blooded Pro
Steady Aim Pro (or Ninja Pro)
