Re: Stupid Cheaters!
I have definately had a few games with cheaters. Really frustrating. I don't mind migrating games but when you start running into it frequently you want to give up.
For the most part though I haven't seen to much of it now that I stick to Hardcore modes. The knife runners are annoying but at least in hardcore you have a chance to kill them with one or two bullets.
One thing I found though was that sometimes you just get in a groove and rack up kills. I have suspected some players of cheating but found that it's really a matter of good luck some maps.

Re: Stupid Cheaters!
FYI most of the hackers play Ground War since there are more people to shoot.

Yeah I prefer modes with objectives as well...helps cut down on cheaters and campers.

Re: Stupid Cheaters!
I finally saw one obvious cheat yesterday who had an aimbot. You can clearly see it on his killcam. He was 13-0 two minutes into the game. Luckily he left after everyone was calling him out.
It seems like all the cheaters play Ground War. So avoid that if you want a potentially clean game. Hardcore Team Deathmatch is probably my favorite mode.

Re: Stupid Cheaters!
Cheaters are in every mode. You'll know them when you see them.
I doubt IW completely removed the auto-aim code from the 360 version, so I gather it'd be fairly simple to reactivate it in the PC version.

Re: Stupid Cheaters!
We still have the unlimited players hack on the 360 version. 48-player free-for-all's.

Re: Stupid Cheaters!
There have been all sorts of hacks on 360. Probably didn't see them because IWnet has a deal with Microsoft to pre-emp those guys more than on PC. And PC has way more hacks out than the 360.
Either way, I still don't encounter a hacker often (1/10 games) unless its in Ground War.

Re: Stupid Cheaters!
I've run into just a few hackers, and I still play just about every day. The running with Marathon Pro, Lightweight Pro, plus holding a canister, is incredibly annoying. It's hard to take them down unless you have a LMG with plenty of rounds left. Catch them a good distance away and you can take them down. Well-placed claymores are also a good deterrent.
Or, typically - I just exit the game. I usually play the hardcore maps, which for the most part are slower-placed than the rest of the mayhem-based maps. I've tried the goal-oriented maps - Sabotage, S&D - but they seem to draw the fast running morons - knifing everyone while others are focused on the goal.

Well it looks like they fixed the care package glitch, plus a couple of other things.

It seems that no matter what game mode i play there are at least 2-3 hackers on the other side finishing the map with 30-0 and calling in every helicopter in the US Arsenal...
