Yeah now just get rid of these cheaters, power up levelers, and power down levelers and we should be good to go.

What was the glitch with the air drops? I never noticed anything out of the ordinary.

The glitch was that the "marker" you hold in your hand that you throw to signal the air drop, made you run faster than normal. And people exploited that extra speed to knife people without them having any chance to fight back unless they somehow saw them coming first.

Neg, marathon and lightweight only add to the effect.

Marathon = Unlimited sprint
Lightweight = Faster movement speed both during sprint and while walking.

Carepackage glitch reduces your weapon's "weight" to 0. So lets say, if you were running with Marathon normally, you travel at 100 movement speed with an assault rifle.

With lightweight you will travel at 120 speed.

If you switch to a SMG instead of an assault rifle (still keeping marathon and lightweight), you are now at 150 speed.

If you now switch to a carepackage marker, you'll run at 180 speed. People who use the "exploit", typically use marathon and lightweight to maximize speed. If you didn't use these, it wouldn't be very effective since your speed would be noticeably slower.

having just" been "in a clan that supposedly "aggressively" banned hackers and held to straight up COD 4 play(ya right)-----there are quite a few sites for hire where you can purchase a hack----plenty of them---youtube has a lot of videos of just what it looks like from a hack's point of view AFTER a hack is downloaded and installed------its a nightmare of RED and BLUE target boxes all over the map----wall hacks--name hacks---you name it the "CODERS" come up with written CODES to defeat PB all the time---this is what they live for--one clan had a cheater in clan for over a month before a senior admin finally caught him in the hack----CODERS are very smart programmers. my .02$

I don't like cheaters. But everytime I see one, I can't help but imagining he's having fun out there, at the expense of others. The key word here is fun, be it he can't cut it without cheats, or he just enjoys blasting others and having a good laugh after (I don't believe they bear any of the same grudges that receiving players do after the matter).

I feel bad for you guys...and for myself as well. I've played COD going back to the early days of COD, UO and COD2. COD4 was fun for a while, especially on the TG servers...but it saddens me how far away IW and Activision has taken this title from it's original beginnings. Gob bless ya for your diligence but I just can't bring myself to give it a try after reading what a debacle it's become.
