Stupid Cheaters!
Grrr. So now I'm getting more and more frustrated with the game. Every game I've been on for the past week has had at least 1 cheater (of the wallhacking and/or aimbotting type). Now I can't play any games with there being cheaters on. Just now, 3 CTF games, all 3 games has 2+ aimbotting wallhacking cheaters on the opposing team. Did my team win? No. We lost by something like 0-7. The cheaters? They had killstreak after killstreak racking up K/Ds in the range of 23-3 or something like 57-7.
How do the rest of you put up with it?Acreo Aeneas

I am also seeing this. Plus knife-runners everywhere that exploit certain perk and kit combinations to turn the game into a Benny Hill experience. Without dedicated servers that enforce rules on the players or a possibility to kick-vote this won't be fun long (as everybody did know from the beginning)

I haven't seen a lot of that. I only play hardcore tdm though. I have noticed a lot of guys that are at level 70 and, since they have nothing to lose, they walk around shooting and kniving their own team. The team gets ticked off and they just sit there and laugh into the microphone. One guy got so mad he was yelling into the mic for a few minutes straight. I actually had to stop and take a break because I was laughing so hard that someone could get so mad over a video game.

I know I don't play the game and I'm not posting to make trouble but Wasn't IW.net supposed to fix the broken PB ans stop all this happening?

For me right now, the lag is what's killing me. I fire at someone and yet on their killcam it looks like I didn't fire at all. That or players are just warping around the screen.

That was a white lie. They switched over to VAC and self-policing, though I have not seen any policing by IW nor by Activision. Steam bans seldom work to deter cheaters and in many cases fosters cheaters as it has a 2-week delayed ban (if the system even finds the cheater).

Ive stopped playing the game, between people hacking, and the lag its impossible to have a fun game

It's easy to rack up kills with that combo in normal mode, especially in a game-mode where everyone's funneled together, like Domination or Capture the Flag or blahblahblah. I've played with that combo of perks a few times, it's a fast-paced way to play. Gets even more crazy with a pistol's Tactical Knife unlock (speeds up melee strikes).

Yeah I've seen that earlier today. One guy was just running around the map as fast as he can just knifing people. Needless to say it got very annoying.

You also have the smoke from the airdrop killstreak. Instead of throwing down the smoke to call in an airdrop, you hold onto it and run around. This increases your running to almost hack-like speeds. Originally Posted by Gill
TBH hackers don't really play in any of my games. Sure theres a hacker here and there, but I just exit that game and start up a new one. Hasn't hindered my play experience at all.

I haven't seen any cheaters yet, only one guy that could have possibly been using a wallhack. I have seen however, cheating accusations flung around like a cheap bottle of whiskey.

I played against an entire team that had aimbot the other night. they just sat in the open with everything on auto, headshotted my entire team, then called in a nuke. I have never been so close to throwing my mouse across the room lol.
