Steam for dummy(AKA ME)
Well I am new to this whole steam thing. I went in and try to add all of you guys last night from the sticky above. Well it couldn't find any of you. Can you add friends if they are not online? If so what am I doing wrong?
I did manage to get willselby3 in. Even after I added him as a friend he didn't show up in my friends list till he sent me a game invite.
Quick game question too. What level do I get the silencer and a acog or the ability to use both?

75 kills with a weapon - unlock silencer
150 kills with a weapon - unlock Acog
It doesn't matter what level you are, just start using a weapon and you'll keep unlocking all of it's attributes.

Im no expert but played around with this last night. If you search for the term "TacticalGamer" in steam groups you will find the MW2 group. Join it. Then when in game use the [shift]+[tab] to bring up steam, go to friends, there should be an expandable list of the members of the group, you can invite them.
To add a friend you look for that person in a similar way, players instead of group and send them an invite. They have to accept for it to work.
You can also set up notifications for when friends join a game or log onto steam under the friends settings area.
As for acog + silencer you need to use the perk "Bling" to allow for the use of both once their unlocked, bling is a level 30'ish perk.
