Evil xbox controllers

So I was playing on MW2 last night on live. This was on Favela... Doing my thing, going around killing people

getting kill streaks
Then when Im about to finish off this guy in last stand mode, this dude with a FAL jumps out of nowhere and kills me... I heard a rapid rate of fire from that gun, so i watched the kill cam, and saw it was automatic. I went to go challenge him, brought my scar, and he brought his FAL, we got into a heated situation, i duck into cover to reload... he does too.
I have sleight of hand pro so i am certain i will come out of cover first and kill him

As you all know there is a delay reaction after you reload and intend to immediatley fire.
This guy took 1 sec to reload, and not even a second of delay to open fire a FAL magzine upon me. I didnt have a chance

And...that is why I prefer the PC version...no gimmicky hardware to give someone that unfair edge...apart from better connection

Just wait 'till you run into a dozen aimboters and haxors! Its the worse, but at least in the xbox version you can fight against it. For the PC, its where there are aimboters and you cant fight those. Plus on the xbox, better graphics and crisp sound effects. I cant say anything about connectionl, im not experiencing any problems in connection when i play.

I have both xbox and PC and xbox as a whole wins hands down. The game is smoother and there is much less cheating. You cant even play ground war on PC without seeing and aimboter

Ground war is incredibly imbalanced in the sense that the maps are too small to support that many players.

As for graphics, I play the game with maxed settings...which I doubt the xbox can handle. And I can count on 1 hand the amount of actual hackers (not exploiters) that I ran into during my time of play.

I can actualy say the same i only need one finger to count the hackers i have seen on the PC version

I don't understand. How does a controller change how fast you can fire? Can anyone explain?

they add Universal Rapid fire... not sure how they do it, but there is somethign in the controller where it manipulates the game mechanics. I hate it, and it must suck to have it for sniper. I can only immagine what dmg that controller could enable if you pair it with an Intervention sniper rifle, stopping power, and FMJ

The original idea was to just send the signal the controller sends for the trigger super fast, creating full auto on semi auto guns that have no rate of fire cap.

They're a little fancier now but it's still just the same old idea, and I do not think it would make a M200 fire semi/full auto because of the rate of fire cap corresponding with the bolt animation.

A few things:

For one, I don't believe the graphics are better in Xbox compared to the PC. I just wouldn't go there for a variety of reasons. That being said, it's not like the graphics are crap in any platform at this point in gaming.

One thing that is different between PCs and consoles is the ms delay between commands. If you do a search, you can see that there are different ms delays between each trigger button on the controller, and for the setup types. Because of these, you can do things (that can't be done in the PC version) such as elevator jump, and quick knife (faster than tactical knife attachment).

The FAL reloads fast regardless of sleight of hand or not (its one of the simpliest reload animations/sound). In this case, even if he didn't have it, he wouldn't engage without reloading first. As for shooting, even if he wasn't using hardware advantages or tricks he knows of, if he lands the first shot, you are going to die 80% of the time. Especially against a FAL.

Btw, Flipmode, you realize on the PC, people have a huge variety of hardware advantages and things like macros to help them (short of cheating)!

And as for cheating, I seem to encounter way less cheaters than what this forum seems to tell me. No cheaters in the last 10 hours of play. (Domination, HQ, Team Deathmatch).

Not necessarily, If the person doesnt have a quick finger on the trigger with a FAL then it would be different. The Scar is a powerful weapon, i use it alot and I rack up alot of kills. The kill cam showed me that his holographic sight was aimed at my head the instant he popped out of cover as i did. I would have taken him out, but that automatic advantage with such a great gun thats semi auto like the FAL, of course you will lose. This dude had a grenade launcher and holographic, i had FMJ plus stopping power. normally i would have won hands down, but this guy had a quicker reload time minus the delay after you reload... he unleashed fury i did not see coming.

Watch some of the videos on the website i have linked you guys... then imagine what it would be like to face somebody who has that advantage, and added the players skill

I think I found someone using one of these controllers in free-for-all,
He had a M21 and a USP.45, both with extended mags, and in every killcam he could be seen emptying his clip in under a second (blindfiring I might add).
He ended up being MVP, and I ended up coming in 4th. Raging.
