Hacked server/rooms

Has anyone playing the pc version run into this? I have logged in to play on steam and selected ground war and been taken to a server that somehow someone altered. When I killed one person I was instantly leveled to 70, I had just gone into prestige 1 a few days before the first time I loaded into one of these servers and was like wtf, upon looking everyone on the server was level 70.

I have run into allot of these lately and they vary from no gravity to super speed, unlimited ammo, all of which you kill one person and gain enough points to instantly level to 70. ,I know VAC only bans players if a hack is detected on the players PC but this new thing has me a bit concerned as well as you cant tell if its a hacked room or not or more than that you have no choice when it loads you in. the lack of dedicated servers results in this now.

My brother had this happen. I can't remember all the details of what happened, but after he left the server, he quit the game. Later, when he went back to play, he was all the way back at the starting level, having lost any real progress he'd made to level 30+.

I have played on a Rust a few times that was hacked but never effected my rank.

I have fully retained the level 70 after joining these server no loss of anything. i would have preferred to be able to say that I leveled through prestige myself but ive come across these servers/rooms 4 or more times. its sad really, the aimboting and hacking is bad but i could deal with it and or avoid it, but now this.

Basically some guy hacked the server. Anything that says RUST when loading is this guys personal play ground. I have read several things about it. He lets people play for a bit then when they get up in rank he boots them. Steam cant do anything nor can VAC because the problem is on Steams end.
