    I'm done with IW and CODMW2

    No more playing for awhile for me just as simple as that. Too many hacked servers, powerleveling, and much more bs. Im done unless they grant us dedicated servers i wont be playing. Now that there are so many hacked servers i cant play because whenever i start a match and kill someone or cap an objective it kicks me saying its for my own good cause there was a Security Error

    No more until this gets fixed.

    I have been playing for a few weeks now and have never had that happen. Is it recent? If so i might have to hang up my p90 as well. The hackers especially are making me regret the 60 bucks i gave to best buy.

    I'm not regretting buying it at all. The only real experience I've had with hackers was amazingly positively fun. I was floating around the map all round, bouncing like I was on the moon. People were flying through the air at low speed by jumping, shooting each other.. it was a blast.

    Been playing for a few weeks as well, and I have yet to be on a hacked server. Hackers have been abundant, but I tend to play with friends who are prestige 6, so even one hacker doesn't change the outcome for the other pub team.

    Has something to do with the new patch 1.177 yesterday. You ain't the only one. The IW forums has a bunch of these threads. People say they were victims of exp servers and whatnot, that the new fixes designed to ban those people are affecting the bystanders.

    The game is greatly unbalanced. It is a mix of RnG, Run & Knife, Run & Shotty, Run & RPG. The perks them selfs can provide for an funfair game play. I my self use one man army to reload my weapons (mostly explosives). Knifing from 5 feet away is a fail, u can easily say that the person lagged if it is your first time. Spawn points fail the most, i have gotten a 44 kill streak on waist land. Get chopper gunner and kill the enemy until their spawn point stays on a ether corner of the map.... it really is bs even though i am the one killing. The lack of vote kick encourages hackers = fail. MW2 = fail all said and done

    Yeah I don't get that, just something as simple as a vote kick would solve a lot of problems.

    You guys should stop taking this game to be some super tactical hardcore realism simulator. I thought you guys would realize it after you jumped an 50 meter wide chasm in a snowmobile, and got throwing knives.

    Yeah, there are some crummy spawns, and balance isn't top notch. But it's still a fun game to play with friends.

    Giving people the option to vote on kicking people in matchmaking is a horrible idea. You guys don't understand how easily and how much it will be abused if it were implemented.

    I broke down and bought the game for the PS3. We play it at work and 3 of my buddies have it as well for PS3. This is definitely a console game. So, sorry I haven't been around to play with ya'll. I can see how you would want to walk away Hawk.

    I don't know, I think you underestimate that a lot of people just want to play the game fair, and if some jerk is wallhacking or whatever then he'll get vote kicked off pretty quickly. Those fair minded people are not just going to kick someone just to kick someone. Majority vote. Even if a couple people do vote to kick they won't get it. I don't believe that a vote kick feature would get abused.

    Then leave the round, this shouldnt be a surprise to all of you guys. There will always be some bonehead out there who wants to have the upperhand by finding a way to get hacks in the newest games out there. If you want it to be fair, the only way thats gonna happen if you get friends to come with you, and be able to talk to them while playing so you can make sure everything is fair if you set up the game urself. Fortunatley i havent run into as many hackers as you guys have, and i assume you guys mean aimboters and wallhacks. The only cheater i have encountered used a special XBOX controller on live that gave him the edge. (universal rapid fire)

    Oh and i play on the xbox, so i have only come across one cheater

    Except if you leave the game prematurely, you get recorded a loss. And as a very competitive player (stemming from arguably from what was one of the most competitive IHS'es in Battlefield 2142, the 3rd SFD), I hate losing

    Unlike Flip here, I don't care about win/loss ratio. The number of times I had to leave a game to join a friend, or to pickup someone who got dropped (damn you IWnet), has made me not care about that. But, like Flip, I care about winning the rounds. I care about doing those objectives in the game, and beating the other team.

    Leaving is a perfectly legit move to avoid hackers. Forget the win/loss ratio. Nobody is judging you, nobody can see your score (or cares about it). So if you want to avoid hackers in a game, leave it. It's not worth your time, or fun.
