Yes, I thoroughly enjoyed the event.
But I am sure that everyone was not happy and those who did not only have me to blame for their dissatisfaction . Tonights event was posted as a Hardcore setup and that was not delivered.

So my apologies to everyone for fumbling the ball.
I hope that this does not make you hesitant from signing up for future events.

Had a blast tonight! Even tho there was a few issues to start with, I think it was a succesful scrim.

I actually liked the no hardcore setting that was on, but I might be a bit biased. =D

I demo'd it so if anyone would like to check it out, I'll post it up.

@ Catman, if you want to use any of my footage let me know. I can send you the demo.

Personally, I even liked how the game was set up before we started. Now I might not have liked it once we started the second map, since I still don't know the maps very well, but any game with a bunch of TGers (hell even SOG guys ) is a great time for me. Thanks for everyone's hard work just putting this together.

Vir2L was definitely the MVP for the Marines last night, we couldn't have done it without him!

Re: Inner TG Scrim 1/08/2008 @ 6:00 p.m. Pacific

I was mad at myself for sucking so bad...not being able to use my "normal" kit threw me way off, and then the difference in having to shoot a whole clip into someone had me really flustered...but that is not your fault HAND..I appreciate all the effort you went thru for us, and even though i sucked, I would sign up again to play in a heartbeat...now that the first one is out of the way, we know what to expect and how things will work...

i went with double-tap as a perk, and that helped even out the "non-hardcore" or whatever you want to call it thing...

I cannot wait till next time...!

Having non-hardcore damage and losing were both annoying, but the match was still fun as hell.
