    5v5 Mixed 82ndID Team, and Bronco

    All,

    If you are on this list, please post that you will be able to play this week. We will either be playing this Wednesday or Saturday night. 8:30 PM EST or later, it is up to Bronco. Please let me know if you have a preference of days and times to play.

    If you do not post on this posting, you definately will not play this week and you may be dropped from the team.

    I will bump this until our first match. I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see it. If you do not respond to this post, I will have to drop you from the team. Sorry.

    Also, I have thought it over and I think we are going to use Ventrilo for our in-game comm's in the matches. I know this isn't what some of you guys have, but I want to make sure we can get a secure area where we can strat and communicate during matches. Go to www.ventrilo.com and download the latest release. Its free and I think nicer than TS, IMO. The server IP to connect to is chicago.xegaming.net port 3788. I will post a time tomorrow night when I would like everyone who wants to play to participate. Thanks!

    Bomber, see my reply on the "5v5 rosters" poll... I don't really know what all this 5v5 talk is about, but if there's any chance of me getting to play in a somewhat competitive environment, count me in!

    Balfa, I'd love to have you but my concern is the number of people we already have on the team. We really have enough for 2 teams, but I'm not sure Bronco wants to add another one at this late date. I guess we could ask him. Why don't you send him a PM and see what he says?

    We are going to practice tonight (Tuesday) on some comms and basic strats. I'd like to get everyone on the same communication application, if possible. I have added the Ventrilo info at the top of this post if you need it.

    I'd like to practice between 7-8 pm EST and 10-however late EST. Once we are all on comms (Xifre or Vent) we will decide on a server and begin strats.

    Please let me know if you can attend. If you do not reply to this post, I will try to find you via Xfire. My Xfire for those who do not know is: npb007. Thanks!

    We are going to continue practicing tonight (Wed). I'm going to probably start sometime around 6 or 7 pm EST. Please see the Ventrilo server info in this post. We will be using that program to communicate.

    Where are you located, Pittbull? Are you in the UK? If so, those 6 hours difference are going to cut into your sleeping time... LOL.
