Re: Team 13th VS 82ndID
KK. Cya there!
I will come into your TS about 8:30 est to do a final QA session. I am looking forward to this. I expect to get beat, but I hope to at least have a good showing.
Which server are we playing on? Server 1? If so, will it be locked? I hope so. Right now the OW Test Server isn't running the new bomb locations, et. Al.

Re: Team 13th VS 82ndID
I just fixed the test server, 209.246.143.41:28960, so it's now running the same version of the mod and bombsite placements that are on server 1. We can throw a password up and give it to you in TS.

Re: Team 13th VS 82ndID
Great seat from the Ref's chair and the rounds were amazing to watch. We only had four teams sign up but if the game play I witnessed is typical EVERYONE will want to be on a team and participate.

Re: Team 13th VS 82ndID
Here is what it looked like at the end of the match.
Well after the second iteration of the match since Drona's cat decided to step on the keyboard and initiated a map fast restart even though I had already killed four 82nd guys at the beginning of the round and RoRo was still hiding in his spawn letting time run out...
I still consider that a win!
As you can see by the scores both of the players and the round counts it was an amazing test of skill and strategy that really boiled down to who saw first to take the shot normally won the match.
In the beginning we had a 2 - 0 lead but after a very successful 82nd attack they were able to pick us off from afar and then were able to coordinate the cars and claymores for a quick 2 - 2 comeback.
I would say that both squads used great communication and reflexive fires to cover their movements and close the distance on the enemy in a methodical and practical approach. There was really no run and gun and I only witnessed one player acting as a soloist who was really only the diversion.
I can attest that the 82nd had a few weaknesses from my standpoint. And that was the utter lack of defensive measures for not only early warning but of route closures. I never once encountered a claymore or C4 any where near any of the bomb sites. Big no no 82nd, from my standpoint I'd suggest implementing those into your kits since the bandoleer is a wasted perk and the 3 grenades dont make any sense since you can pick up to 3 dropped grenades from dead bodies. Also the juggernaut perk is a wasted perk it may give you the ability to take some extra damage from the regular submachine guns but everyone I know uses an assault rifle (G3, G36, M4) and those really negate that perk. But I will say there was once instance that Bomber was near the B bomb site and went prone behind the half wall under the arched walkway and it took me 6 shots from a G3 to kill him.
All in all it was an amazing effort from everyone. Ven had us pumped and I'd like to say that my score only reflects the overall teamwork from my squad. Many of those kills were based off of visual reports that I was able to reorient and get the shot that others couldnt make. I look forward to more of these fun get togethers and a big HUAH! to all that got to play.
THANKS!
