Hi Lp,
Did you click on the rules link? Score limit per round is 400 so matches run about an hour to an hour and half I think. Last season the default night for matches was Sundays but there's been some discussion of moving it to either Friday or Saturday, so if
TG has a preference I recommend speaking up on the forums.
Last, as for the schedule, at this point it's very difficult to say since the length of a season depends greatly on the number of teams involved. Still, I would expect something along the lines of 6-8 weeks, with perhaps an additional week (or two) of playoff matches. I do know that we are aiming to have all fall seasons completed comfortably in advance of our charity tournaments starting in December so regardless of how many teams sign up you can expect the season to finish at the latest in early November.
Here's the rules link (Navigation Menu):

Let me know if that helps... is this being discussed privately amongst
TG? The thread I posted is pretty cold... perhaps I should have posted in the CoD4 general discussion?

Lp,
we allow a ratio of 5:1 for a couple reasons but primarily it's because our league, in broad terms, has a general target audience of larger clans and communities that enjoy match play but are more casual about it than competition teams. Thus, a fair number of teams that compete here don't have that "hardcore squad of guys" that make the time to show up every single week. We've got a good number of teams who have players that like to get a match in every once in a while and so, the 5:1 ratio allows those teams to not have to "pick and choose" which members of their clan to allow on the roster.
The high limit has no effect on the leaner, meaner, more dedicated flavor of teams that do compete here, and it does not deny a team that say, has 30 or so blood-thirsty members to split into 3 teams of 10 or 2 teams of 15 etc. Rosters don't have to have 35 on them, it's just the max.
BTW, Bahiti and Berdie are excellently equipped to answer more CoD4 specific questions as well, just hop on the forums and ask. They're open to input and feedback on the specifics of this season. Our league is team driven, what the consensus of teams wants is what they get.

The rosters allow for 35 and this is the reasoning.
