Could a Moderator edit the first post to display V2 Rocket instead of TBC?

I actually will not be able to make this scrim. I have to go on holiday on Friday and will not be back untill monday. It's quite annoying because I was looking forward to this match. I see it as a way that we can "bond" and become a stronger team.

I'll continue helping with any preperations though.

I don't know if a number was agreed upon, but I'd recommend 12 vs 12. Our server is optimized for this number of players.

I'm not gonna be able to password our server since I'll be out of town, but if you get everyone on and fill the server to capacity before the match starts, there won't be a problem.

Maybe I should revise myself -- anything more than 12 vs 12 would probably be somewhat chaotic, but anything up to and including 12 vs 12 would be fine. Remember that our server mods are meant to simulate squad-level fighting during the WWII era; it's not imperative to have 12 vs 12, but it WOULD open up more possibilities, especially if you play a larger map(s).

You can put a password on your server by using a seconday application like rconcommand or Rcon4CoD2 which you can download from codfiles. I myself prefer Rcon4CoD2 which has a bit more features to manipulate than rconcommander. The second route is to pull down your console in game while logged into the server you want to admin. Type /rcon yourpassword, then hit enter to log into the server. Next, type /password passwordyouwant. Then that should cover your server with a pw.

There are a few rules that LMS would like enforced. They have the usual rules like no bunny hopping, no nade spamming etc but they have a couple of others that we don't usually have on our server.

They requested that there is no "ledging". Ledging involves standing on very thin platforms that you would not be able to stand on in real life. In V2 rocket that would mean you cannot stand on the railings on the walkways.

The other rule that they requested that we follow is that we don't pick up enemy weapons. Now, my initial thoughts were that this rule was a bit unusual since it is perfectly realistic to pick up fallen enemies weapons. In fact, during World War 2 it happened frequently. Many allied soldiers preffered using MP40s to thier own weapons but that is besides the point. I don't think this rule will be a very big problem for us. Most rounds you keep your own weapon anyway so I don't think anyone will be at a disadvantage.

Remember, the scrim is tomorrow night. Please be in teamspeak so an admin can tell you about the password or any other relavant information. It's our last chance to practice tonight so it would be great if you could jump on our server.
