scrimmages & realism
Just curious.
I know that some of the "realism clans" have requirements on their servers to use crouch for most of movements, and only allowing you to run when avoiding fire/nades, moving from cover to cover, or crossing open areas. Most of these servers have an admin present spectating and spamming rules if someone isnt playing according to their rules.
I know that on the TG server that this isn't a rule, and I actually prefer it that way as long as people aren't running around, matrix dancing and bellyflopping etc. The loud footsteps come in handy. =]
When TG scrims one of these clans/squads that use the crouch rule, what will happen?Vir-Chew-All!!

Re: scrimmages & realism
Well, if the scrim is on our server then I can't see us enforcing this rule, although I can see its uses. In the past we have just accepted other clans rules. For example, when we scrimmed against LMS we were not allowed to pick up the enemies weapon.
I guess we will just deal with this type of thing when we come to it. Depending on the rule we may or may not enforce it.Last edited by Obi; 10-22-2006 at 07:29 PM.
