    Lightbulb The Fire Drill

The Fire Drill is standard military procedure for encountering contacts

The Fire Drill is also called by gamers Dolphin Diving.

    how the military trains -
1 : unit calls contact or enemy fire is heard
    2 : squad falls
    3 : enemy types "WTF"
4 : squad wipes the enemy off the face of the planet

i really dont understand why we dont see this tactic used more often it is universal (can operate in feild urban forest ect.) and is normally brutally effective in counter ambush and random encounters with wandering enemy forces.

I'm not sure I have ever been trained with what your describing.

Can you explain in more details what you mean by #2?

    Thanks.

I think he means everyone goes prone.

He won it by making the other poor dumb bastard die for his country."
