Graphics Issue white edge

I am playing the single player campaign, I noticed some graphic issues. I get a white edge glow around characters most noticable on twilight maps, so the charaters does not look natural. Also some textures look a little blurry, its just some maps. I wonder if this is normal in COD4.

I just want to make sure this is normal, as I just bought a new graphics card 8800GT.

Yes, that glow around the edge is 'normal'. I don't like it very much as it looks a but artificial. But yes, it is normal.

The texture blurring maybe the 'depth of field' option that makes objects very close to you blurry mimicking depth of field. I turned this off in the advanced graphic options.
