VOIP in COD4
Hi,
Noob here.
Just joined the forum yesterday and played my first round of S&D on server 2 last night.
This was much more enjoyable than some of the open servers out there I have played on.
To get the most out of the experience I would like to use the VOIP for in game comms.
Can anyone tell me how to setup/use this.
Is it the VOIP in game or TeamSpeak.
Sorry for the dumb question, I am really new at this.
Thanks,
Beak

We use T/S to brag and taunt and to get hold of an admin. Use in game VOIP when playing. If I am not mistaken the B key is your voice. I have mine bound to a different key. We are trying to encourage the use of in game VOIP.

Hey Beaker,
It's best to use in game voip. To bind it, go into your CONTROLS, select MULTIPLAYER CONTROLS, then bind VOICE CHAT. After that, your good to go!

Re: VOIP in COD4
basic Comm Sops: report your location when engaged report any enemies you might see and make sure you are able to respond to anything that is asked.
Welcome to TG, Im glad you found the place and i really hope you enjoy it. If there is anything us as players can do let us know. If you ever have any questions in game about whats going on or you need some advice about kit load out, do ask.that sounds like a good idea trooper.

Re: VOIP in COD4
Hey Beak...seen ya around the past few days. Glad you are getting a mic. It really helps make the game much more immersive when everyone is using comms.
I'd add to Trooper's SOP's- what direction they are travelling, if not engaging you. After 2 years of PRM and a year of Armed Assault I miss my compass when spotting enemies.
Glad you found the TG server.|TG-1st|Grunt

Thanks Grunt,
I am sure that you have killed me a few times online
I have both a standard mic and a mono headset.
Not sure which works best.
I am worried about noise and feedback if I use the standard mic.
What do others find works the best?

Umm.....new to this forum and COD4 also. I want to know if there's anyway that we can bind the voice chat so that we no need to push the chat button to chat???
