I play one more round. Get one kill. Can't hit the broad side of a barn. (kill was from a claymore) I'm not too fond of that. I didn't have my teamspeak running, but I heard someone else say "I had him scoped in to the middle of my crosshairs, I don't know how I missed him". So, after hearing that, I don't want to be frustrated that the game is jipping me of a kill when I have someone scoped in perfectly so I left.

When I joined the other server all of my custom slots said "custom slot". That sucks too.

IMHO I think the direction you are trying to go is great! There are some quirks to work out, just like others have stated. Loading issues, weapon damage and granny sprints (which I can live with). I love the removal of airstrikes and helicopter. The UAV after 3 kills should stay. It made the game more interesting.

Maybe I should get back on and really evaluate the whole picture a little better but, I think I can agree with almost everything Coupon is saying. It's still a good server but has notched the fun factor down a little until some of the issues are improved.

Thank you for your comments, and suggestions. Also thanks for visiting the forums, we like to see new faces. At this time this mod we're running is still a work in progress, so if you can just bare with us for awhile, we'll eventually get it to the way we want it.

I would like people to keep in mind you're probably hitting more than you think. Hit indictors (the white X that pops up when you slap a slug into some poor buggers torso) are turned off. Problem is player health has been increased a bit, so it takes a few more slugs to take a guy down.

Once we manage to find the sweet spot (player health that can withstand more than a single SMG shot, but less than a couple burst rounds from an AR), all should be good in the weapons department

I doubt I'll be playing much on the TG servers anymore. The Vanilla one has turned into a Run N' Gun fest and no one was trying to use tactics at all. The modded one is still enjoyable, but there are a lot of things that have been stated already that is keeping me from wanting to play there.

What made me love TG so much was that from the first time I played people actually thought about their moves before acting. Now they either RNG on the vanilla or since it seems to take so much to kill someone, they have no fear of being shot at like they should.

Guess I'll have to find another home

man, can some of you guys chill for a sec? You act like the apocalypse has arrived, give our admins a chance to get everything running right on server 1, it's in an its infant stages and you guys are already calling it a failure because it ain't like the hardcore server. I commend the admins for trying to make the server a pleasant mix between normal and hardcore, I'm eager to try the server out tomorrow and see what they've done. On another note, with server 1 just think for a second if you are part of the problem or the solution. I see some people who complain about a lack of communication on that server when they never contribute themselves, communication is a part of teamwork and therefor a team effort. Just think about that before you mindlessly bash again.

Yes, we are working very hard, believe it or not. A lot of testing with configurations are at work, there are a lot of variables that have to be tested before we can call it our own. As for server 2 the new mixed-mode, you can drop suggestions here as to how we can make it better, by just being vanilla.

Players running around not playing together? Use your microphone and start letting people know what needs to be done! It is part of your responsibility as a player to help organize your team. If someone else is not taking command you need to step up. Players will come around, especially on our servers.

After a round on the Vanilla server last night with no one communicating, I took it upon myself to get things rolling. It works.

I tried for awhile, but it just got too frustrating so I left for the modded server. Then I wound up even more frustrated and just turned the PC off and played some Guitar Hero III for awhile.

I know which round you got frustrated with on the vanilla server. It wasn't a fun round...at all. It got better after that though.

yeah.. there were a couple of times I was actually yelling into the mic: "GUYS? WHAT ARE WE DOING? GUYS?! ANYONE?!" and got ZERO response. People were too busy focusing on running around shooting.

That map was so fast paced, that many times if you paused to talk on the mic, you'd get shot. Also, I had trouble hearing anyone over the constant explosions and gunfire.

EDIT: I was talking about the vanilla, non H/C server. Don't mean to get things off track.

i was on for the "not so fun" round..but was on other team..we had Reaper crawlin up our butts to start talking..so we did, and you guys got pwned..it seems like with the new changes that communication is even more important..the RNG stuff will work itself out as the admin team gets things tweaked and people get used to things.

i for one started having fun...but communication is a key factor in it..most of you guys have played on other servers..i have less than 30 minutes on any other server but TG..so i had never seen any of these other game modes..let alone a "kill cam" thing..

so for me..change has been "drastic" to say the least..but i am looking forward to the overall process and the end result...espescially the night maps!

everyone just calm down, quit crying about leaving, and give it a chance to "evolve"...it is, after all, a work in process..

you guys better hope i don't get good at this game..you will be in pwned heaven! hahahah
