    Question 1.4 or 1.5 patch?

    I'm going to be playing multi sometime soon and was wondering what patches i need that will have more servers to play on.Are the 1.4 or 1.5 full patches or incremental?

    All you need is the 1.5 patch which is in the link below.
    If you use steam it auto updates.

    What is steam is that like punkbuster?Is steam a good thing or a bad thing to update with?What does the guys use?Sorry i'm new to steam.

    If you purchased your DVD copy from a local store. All you have to do is download and install the patch in my previous post.


    Steam is a third party sales platform.

    Steam is basically a app that allows you access to purchase various games at a centralized web location.
    If you are familiar with the EA downloader. Then you basically got the idea of what steam is.
    Except steam has been out for about 10 years now.

    Steam did not start out that way, but has evolved into one of the best download services. Use to just be the central platform from where you could launch your Half-Life and CS games from.

    Okay i've been playing single plyer with a downloaded copy.But i want to delete it all and install the COD4,i got in the mail today.But it doesn't show anywhere to uninstall.No add and remove programs or in the folder itself.So I just deleted the whole folder and kept my saves and profile.Now i found COD4 in the registry under local machine - software.Not sure if i just delete that whole COD or not.I don't seeit anywhere else in the registry.

    *Trying to install i get this error message for some reason:Contact the vendor to verify that this is a valid windows installer package.\CoD4MW.msi

    Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
